What is product adoption prediction?
Product adoption prediction is the practice of estimating whether people will actually take up a product, and why, before it is built, funded or launched. It asks a different question from market sizing, which estimates how many people could buy, and from product analytics, which measures what people did after release.
Eydora is a human-centered product strategy and adoption prediction platform built on Psycho-Aesthetics®, the methodology developed by Ravi Sawhney and applied by RKS Design across more than 45 years of product development practice. Eydora helps teams evaluate user motivation, market opportunity, product strategy and adoption risk before major capital is committed.
Is this worth developing, and what has to be true for people to switch?
The idea is not new. The timing is.
Adoption has been modelled for sixty years. Everett Rogers set out how innovations spread through a population in Diffusion of Innovations (1962), and Frank Bass gave the curve its mathematics in 1969. Both describe how adoption unfolds once something exists and has early users to measure.
That is the gap. The classical models need a product in the market before they can say anything. The decision that costs the most is made earlier, when there is a concept, a deck and a set of assumptions nobody has tested. Psycho-Aesthetics® was built for that moment. Ravi Sawhney first applied it in 1982 to decide which products were worth developing, and the method has been used on product decisions ever since.

Deciding which products are worth developing at all.Predict before you build.
Most products fail for a reason that was knowable before anyone wrote code. Not a technical reason, and usually not a market-size reason: people did not want it enough to change what they were already doing.
Teams usually learn things in the wrong order. Feasibility gets tested first, because it is testable. Desirability gets tested last, in market, after the money is spent. By then the finding is not an insight, it is a write-off.
Psycho-Aesthetics® reverses that order. It examines human motivation first, because it is the variable that decides adoption and the one that is cheapest to be wrong about early.
Is this worth developing, and what has to be true for people to switch?
What it is not.
Four things adoption prediction gets confused with. Tap a card to see why.
How Eydora does it.
Eydora scores one defined opportunity on five consistent validations, from Human Resonance to Commercial Viability, and returns a Success Potential Score (SPS™) from 0 to 100. Because every opportunity is scored on the same five questions, two can be compared on the same terms, and the same one can be re-scored as it changes. SPS Snapshot explains each validation and shows well-known products rated on the same scale.
The ratings show why the human case matters. A medical device can win on clinical need and still struggle if people dislike wearing it, which is why the MiniMed 507 rates highly: it met the need and changed how users felt about wearing it. Something can be needed, viable and different and still fall short at Trust and Adoption, when the reward for switching is too weak. A score surfaces that while the idea is still cheap to change.

Frequently asked questions.
What is product adoption prediction?
Estimating whether people will take up a product, and why, before it is built, funded or launched. It evaluates human motivation and adoption risk at the concept stage, rather than measuring behavior after release.
Can you really predict adoption before you build anything?
Not with certainty, and Eydora does not claim to. What you can do is make adoption risk explicit and comparable before building. Eydora’s Success Potential Score (SPS™) is a structured decision reference, not a guarantee.
How is it different from product analytics?
Product analytics tools measure what users did after launch. Adoption prediction runs before there is anything to measure, while the decision to build can still change.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT or another AI model?
General AI models help you generate answers. Eydora helps you structure an adoption decision against a consistent set of validations, so two opportunities can be compared on the same terms and a score can be re-run as the opportunity changes.
What does Eydora need from me?
One clearly defined opportunity. Most people start with the decision already in front of them: a build, a launch or a raise.
Who is it for right now?
Eydora is in Early Access, open to MBA students, design students and startup founders, who run structured reports before they build, pitch or launch.
